I have a little question in my mind. I know that most cheese made in non-muslim countries are haram, but some are halal. I saw this Equality brand extra creamy macaroni and cheese and read the ingredients. Everything was halal as far as I have researched but there is something I have not been able to figure out. They provided the ingredients of the chedder cheese in it, which included lipase. (The other ingredients were halal). There are two types of lipase, one comes from pig or small cattles and one is made by microorganisms, which is halal. I want to know if the lipase in Equality brand extra creamy macaroni and cheese is halal or not. A.A., Canada
